Frequently Asked Questions

Is this scale accurate enough for espresso and pour over?

Yes, absolutely. With 0.1g high precision, this scale provides the granular accuracy needed to precisely measure your coffee grounds and water, which is critical for consistent espresso shots and pour-over brewing. It’s a significant upgrade over guessing or less precise kitchen scales.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?

While specific battery life isn’t provided, the USB-C rechargeable design ensures you can easily top it up. Given its energy-efficient digital display and typical usage patterns for coffee scales (short bursts of activity), users generally report a good number of brewing sessions on a single charge.

What is the maximum weight capacity of the scale?

The product description doesn’t explicitly state the maximum capacity. However, most coffee scales of this type are designed to handle sufficient weight for typical brewing, usually ranging from 1kg to 3kg, which is ample for standard espresso portafilters, pour-over drippers, and brew vessels.

Is the scale waterproof or water-resistant?

The product context does not specify if the scale is waterproof or water-resistant. As with most electronic kitchen scales, it’s best to handle it with care around liquids and avoid direct exposure to water to ensure its longevity. Wiping it clean with a damp cloth is recommended.
