Ambisonics Audio for VR
The H3-VR’s 4-capsule Ambisonic mic captures precise 360-degree VR audio recordings up to 24 bit/96 kHz. And with the onboard decoder allows you to export Ambisonics B-format files directly.
Binaural 3D Stereo The H3-VR also records stereo binaural WAV files up to 24 bit/48 kHz. Stereo binaural provides a hyper-realistic spatial recording that enhances 2D productions with 3D audio.
Standard Stereo The H3-VR even offers standard stereo recording for recordings that will be played out of speakers rather than headphones.
5.1ch Surround for Video
Free to download, ZOOM Ambisonics Player software can easily convert Ambisonics audio to a 5.1ch surround file that is pre-aligned to the proper speakers, and is exported to your video or audio editor for syncing with standard video.

exceeded expectations.this little device will pick up audio from 50 feet away easily. I use it for paranormal investigations and it did not disappoint. just keep an eye on the audio settings and make sure to download the zoom program for it. clear crisp and virtually no distortion. i had to amplify the sound over 300% and there were no ill effects that took away from the quality, as crisp as standing next to it. spend the few extra dollars…….

Not sturdy, so far good C. S. and return policyThe protective frame was very weak and broke just from careful use. On/off is tedious. So far the company will replace it but who knows how long I’ll be without. Hmmmm might do some more shopping for something better.

Very happy very good value for moneyIs it best possible sound – – > NO. Is it very good for recording piano over Zoom et al – – > yes it is superb just placed in the middle of the harp. Is it practical and easy to setup for non-pro sound engineer YES INDEED. We are very happy. Only suggestion to Zoom – – > include some pouch for carrying it around it is a bit fragile looking as so small.

Excelente microfono ambisonics!Es muy facil y sencillo grabar con este microfono. La simbiosis de este producto y el BTA-1 es muy buena y permite un buen control y monitoreo durante la grabación.Los algoritmos del programa de Zoom no son los mejores pero son bastante decentes para iniciar. Si necesitas algo mejor, compra el plugin de waves o programa el tuyo en MATLAB.Excelente relacion calidad-precio.

Asombrosa grabadora!!He usado grabadoras portatiles de Zoom anteriormente, este modelo de grabadora en 360 grados me dejó facinado, micrófonos con excelente respuesta, fácil de manejar, estoy muy feliz con mi compra. Botón de encendido débilHola, qué tal, compré el producto hace un año, me parece bien el sistema para grabar binaural y ambisonics. Pero tendría cuidado porque el botón de encendido se puede aflojar rápido y ya no permite prender la grabadora. No sé justo ahora a dónde llevarlo para arreglarlo.
