QUESTION & ANSWER:
Q1: How to set up Dual Screen Display?
A1: Please click and select Start>Settings>System>Display. Your PC should automatically detect your monitor and display your desktop. If you don’t see the monitor, select Detect.
Q2: How to enter BIOS?
A2: Press “delete” to enter the BIOS settings; press “F7” to enter the boot options menu (click continuously immediately after booting).

good balance of adequate power and low noiseThis is an I3-8109U CPU. The “U” means the CPU is slower and uses less power than a similar I3 without the “U”. This CPU scores a passmark of 4307/2137 (multi/single thread), with a typical TDP of 28 watts. An I3-8100 (no “U”) scores 6157/2240 , with a typical TDP of 65 watts. So the “U” is a good thing in this small box – most of the speed but less than half the heat/noise. There’s just a little bit more noise than an old Asus Chromebox but lots more speed. Moderate web activity with YouTube going in the background is fine. There is no sound from the headphone port using Linux Ubuntu, but headphones work with Windows. In Ubuntu (and Windows) there is sound through HDMI monitor speakers and through a USB headset, which keeps me happy. Thus I have made no effort to troubleshoot headphone port.Adding an SATA SSD created a problem with how to deal with the SATA ribbon cable. There are at least a couple of solutions. My favored solution involves only partially reassembling the case so there is a gap that allows a more gentle fold of the ribbon cable and provides improved ventilation. But it doesn’t look quite so nice. I boot Ubuntu from the SATA SSD and Windows from the NVMe. Booting from a flash drive is no problem. (from picture, I think some SEi8 have different cabling).There is no SD or TF card slot. There are only 4 USB-A ports and one USB-C port. The ports on the front should be just a tad more widely spaced. Some users may want to use a hub. There were no issues with my brief use of a USB-A hub. There are no issues with a trackball connected to a USB port on a keyboard. The USB-C port was used to transfer files to a Samsung tablet. No issues with ethernet routed through a switch connected to a powerline adapter. The two HDMI ports do produce images on two monitors, but I did not experiment.It’s likely that a Windows-user who knows how much speed he needs and who has no need to add internal storage would rate this SEi8 5 stars. For my purposes, and compared to an old 5-star Zbox, this PC is a 4+.

Terrible companyUnit utterly failed after 2 months. Doesn’t operate. Beelink has terrible customer support and would not respond over several weeks of attempted communications, or honor their stated warranty.I understand computers can have defective components once in a while, but this company has zero support level, and is dishonest about its promised and advertised warranty.If you expect support and a dependable company, Beelink would not be my choice.

Amazing for size and priceI purchased this to use computer apps on a TV screen and it works great. My wife uses the Peloton apps and I use some streaming apps such as HBO MAX. Comes loaded with Win 11, Small footprint in the entertainment center, easy to hook up, and good response. We do not run any apps on the PC so can not rate that aspect. Highly recommended

Good things come in small packages!This little doozy of a CPU is affordable, fast, windows 11 capable and fits in a small package. Definitely opt for a wireless keyboard and mouse combo, wireless!!

klein aber Oho!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Der Beelink U57 wurde sehr gut verpackt und wie immer, wenn mit Prime bestellt sehr schnell geliefert. Er wurde natürlich sofort ausgepackt und in Betrieb genommen.Anstecken, Powerknopf drücken und ein paar Minuten später war die Einrichtung des bereits vorinstallierten Windows 10 Pro ohne Probleme fertig und der Beelink U57 startete mit dem Aktualisieren der Treiber, sowie der Installation der letzten Windows Updates.Hier macht sich der I5 Prozessor der fünften Generation (i5-5257U) dann schon bemerkbar, denn er arbeitet einfach zackig und ohne lange Wartezeiten, das Aufspielen der letzten Windows Updates von Microsoft hingegen nimmt schon etwas Zeit in Anspruch ➡ machen sollte man sie trotzdem vor der ersten Verwendung.Einrichtung und Konfiguration verliefen allerdings völlig fehlerfrei und waren in ein paar Minuten erledigt und der kleine Kraftprotz einsatzbereit.Der Prozessor ist jetzt nicht gerade der jüngste und auch nicht gerade der stärkste, allerdings bringt er annähernd die Leistung eines Core i7-4558U und neben zwei mit 2,7 bis 3,1 GHz getakteten CPU-Kernen (und Hyperthreading), ist auch eine Iris 6100 Grafikeinheit sowie ein Dual-Channel-Speichercontroller mit an Bord des Chips.Der Beelink U57 ist der erste Mini-PC der meinen Bedürfnissen entspricht (und ich durfte im laufe der Jahre schon etliche Mini-PC’s mein eigen nennen), OK, ich habe nie über 500,- € ausgeben wollen, allerdings war ich auch immer der Meinung das man für 1000,- DM ein voll funktionierendes System für den “Heimgebrauch” erhalten müsste.Und wie man sieht ist es auch für nur 409-, € möglich, der Beelink U57 hat mich einfach rundum zufriedengestellt und ich finde meine Erwartungen an einen Mini-PC’s sind nicht wirklich hoch, denn was mache ich schon großartig mit ihm, ich bin kein Grafiker und zum Schneiden aufwendiger Video-Projekte oder gar zum Rendern benutze ich dann doch andere Maschinen.Ich verwende ihn für Office, als Media PC (er sollte zumindest HD ruckelfrei übertragen, der U57 schafft aber sogar 4K) und natürlich sollte er auch Multitasking fähig sein und OK, ab und an ein kleines Video schneiden, oder ein Foto bearbeiten können sollte dann er dann doch meistern. Shotcut und auch Lightworks konnte ich ohne Abbrüche oder Störungen verwenden (natürlich alles in einem bestimmten Rahmen, wenn ich will, bekomme ich fast jedes System in die Knie) bei DaVinci gehe ich davon aus, das die nach dem Import aufgetretenen Farb-Artefakte aufgetretenen Störungen am Programm gelegen haben.Allerdings darf man nicht vergessen, dass es sich immer noch um ein Mini PC handelt, somit ist zwar spielen möglich, für meinen Geschmack auch völlig ausreichend, aber natürlich nur in einem gewissen Rahmen, wer sich also mit den Gedanken ringen sollte sich den Beelink U57 zum Spielen zu kaufen, dem würde ich dann doch davon abraten sich den kleinen Alleskönner zu kaufen, denn dafür gibt es nun mal Spielekonsolen auf denen dann auch High End Spielen möglich ist und auch das anspruchsvolle Gamer Herz befriedigen.Ich bin mit der eingebauten 256GB SSD und den 8GB Arbeitsspeicher mehr als zufrieden allein der Windows mit der SSD ist ein Traum.FAZIT:Der Beelink U57 meistert meiner Meinung nach absolut alle Aufgaben, die alltäglich im Heimgebrauch anfallen. Er hat keinerlei Probleme mit Videokonferenzen, Internetsurfen und Spielen weniger aufwendiger Spiele, aber auch das Bearbeiten von Fotos und Videos meistert er, ohne das ein Murren zu hören wäre. Einzig seinen Lüfter hört man, wenn der Mini-PC vor einem steht und das ist eigentlich auch mein einziger (wenn auch zu verschmerzender) Kritikpunkt an den Beelink U57➡ Die Lüftersteuerung, welche die Lüfterdrehzahl automatisch nach der CPU Auslastung erhöht und somit ist der Lüfter ab einer CPU Auslastung von 30% zu hören, nicht sonderlich laut, aber hörbar. In meinem Fall stört das allerdings nicht weiter, da ich den Beelink an der Rückseite des Monitors befestigt habe.
