Easy upgrade to your older carI have a 2008 Hyundai Elantra which runs great but doesn’t have today’s infotainment. I’m happy that I found this portable device. I set it up on the dashboard by using the suction cup to the windshield. Then I used a lightning cable to connect this unit to my iPhone. Instantly the Apple CarPlay became activated. The system date and time were synchronized with my phone automatically. I then plugged the supplied audio cable to the aux input of the stereo player in my Elantra. The party begins! It is that simple.Although I could use the wireless feature of the unit, I prefer the wired connection. As you know, bluetooth is compressed data transfer. Wired connection is more stable and has wider bandwidth. The audio sounds much better.The screen of this portable unit is beautiful. The resolution is 1024X600. Texts are sharp. Color is vivid. The screen is so much better than another unit in my other car, Sony XAV-AX8100 (which cost me more than $700 and its screen resolution is only 800X480).The initial impression of this portable device is really good. Because it is portable, you don’t have to pry open your dashboard to take out your old stereo in order to install this one. It is easy to use. Just plug and play.

Great addition to my truckThis is a quick review of my experience with Urvolax CarPlay. I am using Android Samsung S22 Ultra so I will not mention iOS, but I assume it works the same. So far, I have it for about a week.If you don’t have latest (2020s) vehicle with built-in CarPlay capabilities, this CarPlay from Urvolax could be a great addition. No more mounting your phone on the dashboard every time you get into your car, no need to even touch your phone.Setup was simple – establish Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections, plug in power, and install mount. One thing I didn’t realize was that the password for Wi-Fi must be eight characters. Force of habit – I replaced the default password with my own and Wi-Fi would not show up on my phone. Once I realized that it must be eight characters long – everything worked.Default password for Wi-Fi is 88888888. If you don’t care (and you shouldn’t) leave it as is.Once you do the initial connection of your phone to the CarPlay – it will automatically connect every time you start the engine.What I really like about this CarPlay that it starts as a navigation screen and it’s big.From that screen it’s easy to switch to music. I prefer to use Auxiliary cable (included) to connect to on-board speakers, but you can also use FM radio – just choose frequency without any station.I am still exploring other options available on this CarPlay and will update later.There is no automatic night mode switch, but there is brightness adjustment.

Great interesting product for older cars with no car play!!I really liked the effort and design put into this product.People who will really benefit from this product is if they need apple car play in an older car. I have an apple phone and an older car with no apple car play, so this was perfect. Navigation works. Spotify works great as well!Pros: Easy to set up. You can either windshield mount or dash mount it. I opted to windshield mount it.Great connectivity options through wifi, bluetooth, or wired connection. I opted to do it wirelessly. I didn’t really know this but you can also MIRROR YOUR SCREEN. You can watch youtube videos!! However, netflix does not work for some reason. :/Cons: The audio through FM definitely sucks. The connection I preferred is through bluetooth/wifi but there is this clicking sound every 10-12 seconds. I’m not sure how to get rid of that noise. I’ll update review if they do contact me in regards to removing that slightly annoying noise happening every 10 seconds. If your music is on then you can barely hear it.

Fantastic, high quality portable system. Bright toughscreen. A+++I purchased the URVOLAX portable CarPlay system because I wanted to have a large navigation system I could use in my car. Apple CarPlay works by using the maps and display output from your phone, and showing it on a large display – many newer cars have this built-in, but now you can add this feature to any car. The touchscreen display works great and is very bright in any lighting.I was super happy with the system. It comes carefully packed and is a very high-quality, professional design. It comes with everything you need to connect it inside the box, including a sturdy adjustable mount for your car. It has audio built in also, so you can listen to navigation instructions, and even music through the device. You can also receive you phone calls through it with a nice, easy to use touch display. It even comes with a fantastic charger cable that includes two additional USB outputs on the plug, plus a USB charger on the side of the display!I highly recommend this device to anyone interested in adding CarPlay to their vehicle. I understand that it also works great with Android devices too!Highly recommended!

Quick and easy Android Auto experienceIf you want to add wireless android auto to your newer car, or regular android auto; this device is great. It’s easy to install either to the windshield or the dash, and has a very quick connection time to your phone.Setting it up with wireless requires you to follow the steps in order. All you have to do is connect the bluetooth first while on the android auto screen and then connect the wifi. The default password for it is 88888888. Wired couldn’t be more simple and all you have to do is plug your phone in and press the android auto button.It has great compatibility with any car I can think of. All you would need is a 3.5mm headphone jack and a cigarette lighter port.The screen size is great, crisp (the best quality wired), and very easy to use. I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants modern smart phone connections in their car. Having easy navigation and music access in a car is a must have.
