The GX1800G makes DSC easy. With an internal 66 Channel GPS built into the front panel, there is no need to hassle with wiring the radio to a GPS for DSC. Out of the box and ready to go, DSC calling, position sharing, waypoint navigation, navigation to DSC distress calls can all be performed with just a few simple steps. Now compatible with Standard Horizon’s latest second station microphone RAM4, model SSM-70H. All functions on the main radio can now be controlled on the Second Station RAM4.

does not come with flash mounting kitdoes not come with flash mounting kit which for the price should its only 2 screws and t2 metal plates now i have to try and find the right mounting kit an hope that I get the right one

This radio works very well and it does everything that they advertise.I’m happy, I upgraded from a radio that I purchased in the eighties. With the extra features it a good value. Compared to the cost of my old radio in the eighties, this radio is a steel. This radio will do things unimaginable in the old days. So I like this radio.

Bad companyWe initially like the radio and then with less than 40 hours of use, it quit. I contacted the company and they said I could send it in for an estimate. Then it is $70 an hour for repair. By the time I go through that process, the summer will be over. Very disappointing for the price that we paid
