Great screen replacementAfter a long and arduous search, I stumbled. upon a replacement screen that was not only to the specifications that I needed, but a seller that would also deliver to my home state. Received it in the usual time frame…Great quality and securely shipped. Installed it and now my MacBook Air is up and running!…Would definitely recommend!…2 Thumbs up!!!

Not as bright as OEMEverything worked well first time out, including the camera, though there are some fiddly parts to the install (not the screen’s fault, just lots of very tiny screws). The iFixit instructions were fine, except for a few screws labeled T3 that were actually T4. The black screws holding down the antenna bar in the center were cemented in, and took a lot of downward force to remove without stripping the Torx heads. Only problem: the aftermarket screen is simply not nearly as bright as the OEM Apple screen, and with my old eyes, that’s not great.

Amazing and easy to installMy 14 yo cracked her screen 3 days after I bought her new Mac. BB wanted $590 to fix it.I found this and was like I am a momboss, I got this. It came with all tools needed and with a YouTube video in hand it took me about an hour to replace the screen and it is PERFECT!

Not OEM, but close enoughAs others have mentioned, this display is a little different than the one from Apple: slightly thicker, slightly more difficult to open/close with the hinges (and possibly magnet?), and not quite as bright. However, considering the alternatives, this is an excellent option and the one I’d go for again. Saved nearly $200 from getting a used OEM monitor elsewhere, and probably a good $400-500 from getting it replaced directly through Apple. For those savings, I’m definitely more than willing to put up with a few minor differences.

Good for a replacementReplacement was perfect, everything lined up and it was easy to assemble. The screen itself looks perfect. However, you can tell that it isn’t OEM (cause it isn’t lol). The paint is a tad rougher than OEM paint. There’s a more defined crease on Apple logo and it’s a little more difficult to open. I’m guessing the magnetic aspect of the cover is stronger. The screen also seems a tad dimmer than normal, but for a replacement screen it gets the job done.
