Great upgradeReplaced a KEF T101 center speaker. This puts that to shame. The sound quality is very good. Dialog is so much better I don’t even need to use closed caption any more.

Great addition to my systemHad an older model center channel from polk that was somehow missing some dialog from certain movies, they were getting piped to my l/r speakers instead.This set has returned the center channel in its glory. I did not even know what I was missing !

Why a Grey grill instead of Black?I purchased this Polk XT 35 to replace my old Polk CS 10 center channel speaker. The performance, in my opinion, is about a 10% improvement over the CS 10. This speaker like most Polk products is a good performer and fairly priced. What I Do Not Like is the fact that this unit has a Grey grill and all my other Polk speakers (right and left towers and surround and rear surrounds have a black grill; as do my Klipsch Atmos speakers. I like to keep the grill covers on my speakers and this just does not fit in with my others. I just can’t understand why the XT series went to Grey. I deducted 1 star for the aesthetics.

Pretty happy with this speaker!This is a big speaker – double check your measurements. I had to raise the TV on the stand. That said, the audio quality is excellent both for TV and music. I’m happy with it! HUGE upgrade from my single Bose center channel cube.

Simple setup, excellent soundThis was a replacement for a cheaper Polk center speaker that my wife complained about, because she thought it made the dialogue on the attached TV sound muddled. After upgrading to this new Polk unit, I see her point. The dialogue is much cleaner and easier to understand without having to turn up the volume to hear it. All the speaker components on my 5.1.2 home theater setup are by Polk, and this center speaker works wonderfully with the other components. I use it as much for music as for watching TV, and sound is crisp and clear. Definitely recommended, especially if it is on sale, as it is right now.
