Nice 144hz Monitor w/ Thin BezelsOverall it’s great, but the one thing that it lacks is that it doesn’t have any buttons or touch control panel to change the settings of the monitor such as gamma, brightness, color contrast, etc. It looks really nice but the fact that it doesn’t have an onboard control panel is what makes me take a star away. The screen is bright and it’s nice, but at night it is hard to look at. Either way, I still think this is a better buy than the sceptre monitor close to this price range. The 144hz works fine and it’s great that they included the DP cable.UPDATE: I found out how to access the menu options and it’s a button/joystick flush with the back of the monitor. I don’t know why this took me an overwhelming amount of time to find.

Great price, great performance, great pictureGoing from 1080p 144hz to 1440p 165hz was definitely noticeable. FOR THE BETTER. I know average joe reviews help me throughout the buying process, so I hope this helps some of you out there make a decision on whether or not this monitor is for you!I’ve had the same AOC G2590FX for about 1.5yrs. Been a great monitor, but I started to have considerable difficulty recognizing objects at distance (specifically Warzone). Decided it was time to jump up to 1440p for the pixel density and clarity. I am beyond impressed. Although the PX277 Prime isn’t the cheapest 1440p monitor out there, the current price, performance, and features set it apart from the rest for me.I was looking for a Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-MHD, but all three of my orders fell through. Then wanted the PX7 Prime but couldn’t get that in stock within my desired timeline. Soooo long story short I initially selected the PX277 Prime simply because it was the best monitor (based off advertised stats) that I could find available.Initial impressions: color out of the box was too warm, bit under saturated, and not bright enough. I made some simple tweaks and immediately had it exactly where I wanted it. (My settings are in the associated pics). All colors seem true, blacks and gray areas appear very uniform, and refresh rate/input response are more than adequate for FPS. I don’t have any hardware that will provide official results, but my average gamer eyes (Warzone and MW multiplayer exclusively) are beyond pleased. I have no difference in reaction time/ performance than I had while playing at 1080p. If anything, my awareness is enhanced due to the clarity and fidelity of textures as well as my ability to see farther/identify objects at distance. If you’re on a budget, this is a great option. Can’t say it’s the best because I haven’t tried any other 1440p monitors, but based off available reviews online for comparable monitors in this price range The PX277 Prime’s performance is top notch based off my experience. (Model as of September 2020)

Pretty SolidPretty great for the price with the specs it has. Build quality is good with a sturdy Metal stand base. The Top and Side bezels of the Monitor are barely visible. As for the Monitor I would adjust the settings once you get it setup. These are the settings that I found gave me the best experience.Display – Preset FPS2Sharpness – 50Ultra Vivid – ONColor Temperature – CoolGamma – OffHue – 50Saturation – 60Low Blue Night – 0Freesync ON when playing games / OFF when consuming media such as YoutubeOverdrive – MediumHDR – OnDCR – OFF

Great affordable display for Xbox Series XThis was the third monitor I’ve tried in the course of one-week, trying to find an affordable option for desktop gaming on the new Xbox Series X that hits most of the top-end specs. I knew I’d ultimately have to decide between models that offer 4K/60fps or 1440p/120fps, but surprisingly this monitor supports BOTH over the HDMI-1 connection. Series X can give you best of both worlds depending the games you want to play. The 27″ ISP panel is also crisp and easy on my eyes for daily text/web work over DisplayPort. Colors and sharpness are excellent with HDR enabled for both gaming and work.Highly recommend this model for anyone else looking at a versatile console gaming monitor!

Short Power CableGreat monitor, but it comes with a frustratingly short power cable. You might want to buy a longer one. You should also pony up and buy a high quality power cable (from a legit brand such as PWR) so your monitor doesn’t get fried.Specs for your power supply cable (output): 12V, 3A, positive polarity. For current (3A), so long as the power cable’s voltage (12V) matches the above, then it won’t matter if the rated current is higher. For example, I purchased a 12V, 5A power cable. It also doesn’t quite matter if the model / specific device matches, either. If the above matches, then you could use the power supply for a toaster and it wouldn’t matter.I went with this 12-foot cable: https://smile.amazon.com/12V-Adapter-AOC-LED-Monitor/dp/B07ZWBW996/

Best bang for your buckBeen looking for a cheap 144hz monitor for so long and super glad I came across this product! The image quality is great, extremely bright, no reflections even when facing a window. The stand is really skinny and doesn’t have lateral movement support but the monitor supports a vesa mount. The monitor sits at an approximate 3.5 inches (~9 cm) high which is enough for me and even though the stand is skinny, the build quality is pretty good.It comes with a Display cable in the box.

Great monitor but no speakersSuch a good looking monitor. It has everything you could want for a very fair price. The only thing it doesn’t have is speakers which I didn’t know until I got it but monitor speakers always suck anyway. It does a headphone port.Edit: I just saw today that there is a dead pixel on the side of the monitor. I do plan to return it and order another one though.Edit 2: I got another monitor because of the dead pixel on the last one and now this monitor has some major light bleedthrough around the edges. It bothers me quite a bit. I’m undecided on whether its enough to send it back and get a different brand.

Perfect for Xbox Series XThis monitor is perfect for the Xbox Series X. It runs a smooth 120fps up to 1440p, and the option of 4K up to 60fps. This is the best quality low budget monitor for next gen consoles.**PRICE – This monitor is worth around the £300-£350 mark, do not pay a penny over this as people are profiting off low supply and high demand of these types of monitor due to next gen consoles. This monitor features 2 x HDMI 2.0 ports, but please do your research before buying a monitor with these. I previously bought a Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-mhd which was advertised as being capable of doing 1440p at 120fps, but this was not the case. I had to send this monitor back in which I then bought this Pixio one. Please refer to the manufacture websites to get accurate information, talking to Xbox customer support may also be useful. This has an IPS panel so the colours are very bright and the response time is amazing. But despite this there is no visible ghosting or IPS bleeding. This monitor has very good brightness also. This only thing worth mentioning is the ergonomics. This monitor can only tilt, no height adjustment or swivel. For me, this isn’t an issue as the viewing height and angel is perfect. For some this may be a downside.

Too much backlight bleed and glow.Originally I reviewed this as a good monitor, however over time it seems as though the backlight issues got worse and I couldn’t stop noticing it and was distracting me in games and doing my head in. I also realised I much prefer curved screens especially at this size of monitor as it feels much more comfortable. So now I am returning and have grabbed myself a Samsung curved monitor 2k and 27″ and I much prefer it especially since I got it for £240. Personally I would recommend you make sure there isn’t a better deal before buying this. However if you don’t mind backlight bleed and glow then go for it. For me though IPS panels are too much hastle and I went for a VA.
