Essential for any Nikon F Mount UserFirstly I have upgraded to this from the FTZ, some may ask why..well the tripod foot on the original drove me round the bend, I also could get a cover over it when trying to hide the lens when shooting in the wild.So is there any difference between the FTZ and the FTZ II, well for me, yes there was, the AF speed does seem quicker. This could be subjective but my telephoto prime F mount definitely focuses quicker than my 2019 FTZ.It’s smaller and fits better with a camera grip or cage. As with all Amazon UK purchases you may end up with an import, and in my case the FTZ II was from Singapore, but did come with a nice Z System sticker.

A lot of money for a tube but it does the job its supplied forA shockingly big outlay for what is basically a tube with some electrical contacts and I presume a wee chip inside to interface F mount electronics with Z mount. But that aside, works well with the one F mount Full Frame lens I have. No optical issues, focus is a bit slower than with a native Z mount lens but that’s probably as much the lens as the adapter. And no cumbersome tripod fitting to deal with so handling is pretty good.

Great deviceWorks perfectly with all my Nikon G lenses with my Nikon Z6.2.Autofocus speed is as if using on Nikon DSLR.(D500).

Can use my F mount lenses. It adds to the weight of the camera and the length of the lens. Fount it pretty expensive for what it is..
