1.For 12.9” iPad Pro users, please remove the protective case before use.
2.The remote control needs to be linked IN THE APP instead of linking it directly via bluetooth of your smartphone or tablet.
NEEWER X14 Teleprompter folds flat for storage and transportation. The sturdy, wrinkle resistant polyester drawstring cover blocks light from entering your camera and stays taut with an internal magnetic bar, allowing you to read scripts word for word and comfortably look directly into the camera while recording video. A sturdy carrying case with foam padding protects the X14 and makes it easy to carry.
The beam splitter glass features two sides: a transparent side for the camera to shoot videos and a reflective side that displays the script for you. The hinged frame can tilt at 135° for desired viewing angles.
Exclusively designed for the NEEWER Teleprompter app, the RT-110 remote can let you pause, speed up or down, and turn pages of your script. The Teleprompter app is compatible with iOS 11.0 or later / Android 6.0 or later and is available from major app stores free of charge.
The teleprompter is compatible with tablets that have a display size up to 14”, including iPad, 12.9” iPad Pro, 11” iPad Pro, iPad mini, and all types of smartphones on the market.

GreatI’m honestly surprised as to how well thought out this teleprompter is. The glass they used is very effective at reflecting light back at the subject, and the picture I took of the closed case is through the inside of the teleprompter. It’s easy to see that there’s no reflection or distortion caused by the teleprompter. The hood closes around the lens quickly and easily to keep all the light out, and they put on a nice long plate so I can move the camera around to accommodate even very large lenses. The 1/4-20 bolt for attaching my camera or adapter plate threads into the rear and slides up the slot so I don’t have to worry about it falling out.The bottom has 3/8 and 1/4-20 threaded holes all the way down so I can easily get the best balance for my current setup. When I pulled it out of the case the cold shoe arms weren’t attached and I was worried I’d have to assemble it every time I took it out. It turns out that they cut out the cushioning inside just right so I can keep the whole thing assembled, and just fold it down when I’m ready to pack it up.The remote is intuitive with text sizing on the left, speed on the right, and play/pause in the middle. It’s easy to operate even when I’m concentrating on more important things. It’s designed to work with your tablet/phone and the Neewer Teleprompter app.The tablet holder on the front can slide out quite a ways to accommodate even very large tablets, or all the way in to hold onto smaller displays.Overall an incredible teleprompter.Highly recommended.
Excellent, quick setup teleprompter…no brainer for prosumer sized camera gearThere are a few things I like about this teleprompter.First, it’s super quick to setup, takedown, and store.Second, the glass is large which is great because I like to have the letters as large as possible on the teleprompter which doesn’t allow your eyes to move left and right which looks more natural.Third, it’s fairly light and very portable. I replaced a heavy duty unit from a big name photography manufacturer that was great for large equipment, but difficult to transport. This fits the equipment I’m using now.Lastly, the remote is one of the best teleprompter remotes you’ll ever see.

Good teleprompterI like how it comes in a case and it’s easy to transport and store. The text is easy to read and can support larger tablets. This is much better than some generic Chinese brand I’ve tried in the past.Neewer has their Teleprompter app; It comes with a remote so you can use it with it (they sell the remote separately for like $30).They should just list it at $199 instead of ridiculous $40 coupon.
