    TNP212DV THIS COMBO KNOCKSThese subs knock.. Had a 15in MTX 5500 (new version) single sub bridged on a MTX MXA 400.2 amp before. And this little two 12 set up with the 500.1 amp is really killing it. Almost night & day.. Was a little skeptical with it being MTXs entry level set up.. But don’t sleep these subs really knock & for $300 well worth it. I got these due to Amazon & youtube ratings. Figured if they were as good as they are said to be then why now. Absolutely glad I did. Just ordered two more to add to my Explorer so ill be running six 12s and three 500.1s under a $1000 system not bad at all.. You may think why not a bigger or better sub and amp.Because between the box, amp, & subs they are made for each other… Besides being able to run Six 12s and three amps all matching is gonna just looks dope… Well worth it i defiantly advise.. You wont be disappointed..

    Get this speaker!!!I don’t know anything about speakers in the slightest. I had someone professionally install this unit along with a radio I purchased online. These speakers have lasted me quite a while and still have amazing sound. It’s durable and has survived things banging around my trunk (that doesn’t mean they’re unbreakable, use caution). I look forward to driving my car because I can’t wait to try out new songs and feel the incredible base.

    Best bang for the buck.For the money, I don’t think you could beat this deal. The amp puts out an honest 400 watts @ 2 ohms with no clipping. Tested @ 40 Hz with a Fluke 87 and an SMD DD1 using the speaker as the load = 28.9 volts into a 2 ohm load.I stuffed the box with 3 lbs of pollyfill, inverted the right woofer, removed the plastic / rubber trim ring and flipped it over, reinstalled it and wired it electrically out of phase. I will clean up the wiring and remove it from under / in between the speaker and the box later. I did that for testing purposes only. Acoustically in phase for a push/pull configuration. Not to be confused with compound or Isobaric.I am really impressed with how smooth the response of this box is. It is very musical and still hits pretty hard for 2 twelves. All and all, the construction of the box is descent. The spring-loaded terminals are descent and the 12 awg wire that is inside the box is soldered to the terminals and to the speakers from the factory.The Kicker GR120 12-Inch Speaker Grille fits like it was made for it. Even the locating pins on the grill fit right in the screw holes on the speaker. The screws that hold the speaker in the box are long enough to hold the grill to the speaker / box and are not tapered.

    GARBAGE QUALITYThe amp is a piece of junk when I was going to turn amp up I realized it was broken on the inside of the amp barely hanging on to the amp and immiediatly fell off when i when to put it back in its box to return… None of This is mtx quality Moro’s it mtx . the subs on the other hand are good however i do think they need to be in a bigger box, i really could not tell yea because there is nothing identifying what they are on the back of the subwoofers. Cheap china made stuff might as well order off of wish !!!!

    A great improvement to the anemic base sound system in my 2017 Audi A4.I installed this 8″ powered subwoofer tube (RT8PT) in my Audi A4 last week and the improvement in the sound system is substantial. This unit fills out the low end so that I can hear kick drums, bass instruments (string bass, electric bass guitar, etc.). I have not yet used the nylon straps and don’t know if I will actually need to. I am considering adding a speaker grill for protection but have not yet decided which one to buy (or how to fasten it).

    Perfect for the moneyMy first speakers I ever purchased, knowing nothin about speakers and wanting some serious base at a low price. And they delivered! I may not know much about speakers, but I think these are fantastic! I bought them for my 2007 Subaru Outback, which was quite the upgrade.I’ve had them for nearly 4 years now, unfortunately the speaker fronts have been cracked by skis and such however, they still work like new. I’ve had to reconnect several different wires nearly 10 times over the years, but only due to carelessness tossing skis and other things into the back, and possibly due to a cheap wiring kit I purchased.

    I love it!!First off, great packaging. The amp was especially packed well. The installation was easy and time-saving. Second of all, the sound is great, I have a Double cab Tundra and it sits in the back seat. For a bigger truck this thing still shakes the rear view mirror. The amp adjustments are super simple, so I was able to dial in the tone that I like in a matter of minutes. Of course, this isn’t a competition set up at all, which is OK due to the fact that I didn’t purchase this item for that reason. I like bass but not headache inducing bass. For 10’s these are awesome, not underpowered, but not overpowered, either. I listen to everything pretty much. Rap, country, rock, metal, dubstep, you name it. This set handles it. I don’t know how it would sound if it were to be in a car. All I know is if you have a truck, and you want good bass that’s easy to install, sounds amazing, and affordable. Go with this, I love it so far. Thanks MTX for yet again another great set up.
