AMAZING BOARD!This board has everything I wanted on it which made me get it, 2.5 Gb/s LAN, M.2 Gen 4, PCIE Gen 4. and I could not justify spending the money on a X570 ACE. Everything works perfectly! I’ve been building computers now for 10 years. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!

B550 Carbon with Ryzen 5600xBuilt a new PC with 5600x Ryzen with MSI B550 Carbon WIFI.1. Needed BIOS update in order to run new generation of Ryzen for 5600x CPU.2. Flash BIOS worked great with single click on the tiny button with USB plugged in.It is one of the best feature since BIOS flash works even without CPU or RAM plugged in.However, some USB does not work and I had to try 2~3 USB with 2.03. Pre installed IO shield saves time and reduces stress. Also it protects breaking ports like USB while installing the board on the case.4. Power phase is fantastic and I am fully using 8 pin + 4 pin connected and it does help boosting for PBO and power management.5. QVL supports many XMP RAM and with user friendly BIOS it loads with single click like a champ.6. WIFI6 on the board helps to move my PC around in the house and I no longer need to place my PC in limited space for LAN cable connection

Good board, update BIOS ASAPNOTE: This board shipped w/ BIOS that didn’t work with XMP on a RAM kit I knew worked at rated speeds. Friend got same board with same BIOS ver & same issue. If BIOS version ends in .130 do NOT try XMP. Updating BIOS to .150 resolved all issues. I think other MSi B550 and X570 boards have the same issue with that BIOS version. Anyway, onto the rest of the review.Good feature set, I wanted a good looking board with a decent amount of USB and ARGB headers, and since MSi cleverly kneecapped the Edge to 5 Type A’s, I forked over the extra for the Carbon. Good power delivery, worked with the 5800X out of the box, other than the aforementioned above BIOS issue, I have no real complaints.

Powerful and reliableI bought this board for my gaming desktop. I got a recommendation from the YouTuber I follow.It’s really hard to buy all the products of a new gaming PC parts these days, I had to wait for a while until I got 5900x and RTX3080.This board got a great power delivery. It supports up to 200A when I use PBO setting. Which is pretty good in B550 boards around.Both M.2 cooling pads are very sturdy and work perfectly.PCB looks nice and dark. LED is simple and nice.I’m happy with my purchase.

Diverse and Tough MainBoard!I bought it to set up a PC for heavy load, and it fits well.Here is my system spec.CPU : Ryzen 3950xCPU cooler : Corsair A500RAM : Corsair 3200MHz 16GB*2M/B : MSI B550 Gaming Carbon WiFiSSD : SD M.2 2TBVGA : 750TiPower : Seasonic 850WWell, it works perfect as was expected.My M/B’s BIOS is quite easy to configure CPU/RAM overclocking, and work perfect!I checked several tools to check, and it passed every check.I recommend this mainboard, because it is quite easy to setup, has many functions, and tough enough to endure hard overclocking.

Ordered two boards – both dead on arrivalThis is a great MOBO, when it works. I ordered this board for my PC and when it arrived, I found that one of the SSD slots was faulty. Returned and replaced it – second board never powered on. I’m not sure if Amazon is getting mass amounts of faulty boards secondhand or if poor packaging and shipping is the issue, but when two out of two boards are dead on arrival, you know something’s not right. Reordered from a reputable PC components retailer and had not a single problem. Buyer beware!

Super good board for the priceUpgraded from the MSI Gaming Plus X370.Bought this for the Ryzen 7 5800x, installed the newest BIOS on a USB, but when I booted I didn’t even need to update the BIOS, it was already installed out-of-the-box!I specifically chose this due to the superior cooling on the VRMs and power-phases. Many boards at the this price range will only have direct contact on the VRMs but NOT the power-phases. It comes with heat-sinks for BOTH of the m.2 slots.RGB is cool but my PC is in a different room from where I use it, so I don’t really care about that.BIOS reset button on the bottom of the board is SUPER handy when trying to overclock; no need to remove the GPU to take off the battery, just press the button and restart.Booting my Windows 10 is much faster compared to the MSI Gaming Plus X370.Went with MSI B550 because X570 is much more expensive and really doesn’t give more performance.

Contectivity heaven solid board for fututre ryzen 4000, i got 3700x while waiting, pbo works fine memory is kinda OC, just lowered timings and not increased frequency, its not necesarily $160 better than b450 vhd from msi i paid $60 but I do get lots of extra usb and port c and much better onboard audio and in theory OC option should be much better, but time will tell when 4000 comes out and I get good 3600mhz kit instead 2800mhz I have now altho its set to cl14

Bought an open box warehouse deal, NO POSTBoard was bricked, though it was not factory sealed. Warehouse Deal. This is Amazon’s fault.I am no amateur to building computers. I tried everything, 3000 series, 5000 series, different usb, format, older bios to get a post – to no avail.Returned this one, ordered a different MSI mobo, and it worked first try with the exact same method, hardware and configuration.Buy a new one, don’t buy used!

Feature packed, stylish, but had to flash BIOS for 5800xI don’t understand how these are still shipping with BIOS from Sept 2020, but it was easy to flash new BIOS with m-flash (note that you need another computer and a usb drive), I was getting DRAM and Boot error light. Board looks great and had no other problems, only built the PC the other day but wanted to review and leave note about requiring BIOS update.
