1. What should I pay attention to when installing the device?
Please kindly check if the host base is completely combined with the device’s main unit in place. (The host base is completely centered in position and cannot slide further)
2. Why does the MINIEYE fail to recognize vehicles, lanes, and proximity？
To ensure accurate warning of dangerous road conditions, please place the GPS module according to the following tips: 1. The GPS module should be placed face up.2. The GPS module should be placed at least 20 cm away from the monitor
3. Why failed to download the MINIEYE APP?
The APP only supports Android 5.0 and above/iOS 10 and above. Please kindly check your phone system and update the version.
4. What is the maximum capacity memory card that can be used?
This product supports class 10 high-speed memory cards with a maximum capacity of 128G ( a 32GB TF card is included in the package).

This is your Dashcam IF!You are looking for the best video quality for the price, without all the bells and whistles. This has everything you need. Two ways of installation. Manual and Automatic Emergency recording. Stickers for the power cord. It’s not battery powered. There’s no WiFi or Bluetooth. These are not necessities though, I’m telling you, less is better, you get more bang for your buck on the other specifications that matter!This is a real Dashcam, and they don’t falsely advertise as 4K resolution, when they absolutely could, and would definitely get away with it like the countless other Dashcams. I suggest getting a high endurance SD card though, for the constant writing and deleting it will need to do for all the recording. You don’t want any corrupted files or any sort of trouble, at the wrong time.

Poor instructions, missing SD card, lane change warning too quiet.The instructions are poorly written, though the installation videos are very good. Mine didn’t have the micro-SD card as was advertised. I bought and installed a SanDisc micro-SD card, but the device says it can’t initialize it, so I can’t record anything, and have no instructions on how to correct the problem.The collision alerts are fairly loud chimes. The lane departure warning (the main reason I bought the system) is only a very quiet voice warning that I will never hear if the radio is on. I hope that this is changed with a future update.It came with a parking monitor that wasn’t advertised. The instructions for this are in Chinese only, so are of no use to me. There are no instructions on how this is tied in with the rest of the system, and no video on how to install it.

My opinion The camera is good but the video quality isn’t good enough because you can’t read the license plate of the vehicle in front of you, it’s blurry, and another thing is the alerts system volume it’s too low I turn up the volume all the way, and it’s still low. And I hate that it’s only recorded 20-second video to 1 minute. The collision system isn’t great also you have to be close to the vehicle in front of you before it alerts you. I wish the give you the option to set up the whole system the way you want it. But I’m looking forward for an update.

Easy set upI got the dash cam because I previously got into an accident and it was the other drivers fault. I bought the cam because he tried to say it was my fault. So I figured a cam would help if anything was to ever happen again. Dash cam is easy to set up. The power cord was pretty long so that was good. The quality of the video is great during the day and also at night and I like that it gets my whole front windshield area. I like that it also has the danger alert, so If I get to close to another lane it warns me and also warns me if there’s potential for a collision to another car or pedestrian. Theres no such thing as being too safe and this is great for that piece of mind and extra eyes on the road.

Dash Cam for Average customer needed a trip recorderI have been looking for the market for a new dash cam to replace my old one. I have not been using this type of dash cam with a small screen before, so I am giving it try. First to notice, this dash cam is quite a heavy price tag on it, I wish the price can be a bit lower for a better value. However, I decide to give a shot and pull the trigger, because I am looking for a good 2K cam.Package is quite simple, I like the way they put foam to protect the lens when during shipment. The package included Cam itself, a car plug with quite a long distance cord, one replacement 3M sticker mount, one suction mount, and a bag of cord management holder. I really like the method of mounting for the suction cup, it offer a rotating lock and make it very handy. However, I feel that the charging cord can be a better design, I prefer a separated version of the plug and cord, so that I can pair it with other type car plug, but a unity charger make the multi-device not suitable. All the cord holder sticker are very sticky and stable.Cam is plastic build, it was not heavy at all, I think the build is solid and feel durable, but make it in a better stronger hard plastic can be better. I feel it can be shaking quite strong during my drive. The small screen is my fav, cool interface and easy to use menu, however, simple tho. The on cam button make it easy to handle, my preference do not like touch screen in these small device, the physical button is one the key thing I buy this model.Lastly, video quality is one the main thing to consider. It states for 2K quality, the day time video is decent, images and video are sharp, but a bit over-processed feeling. Can be easy to see front car plate at around “one car distance”. The shooting angle is wide and can cover my entire front view so that is a good part. Video again, it is a bit shaky, I wish a better unity build around the shell or a stabilizing feature at this price point. At night, the video quality drop quite a bit, but still sharp and visible (will update some night image later). However, I have to say video at night is not possible to use when at large crossing, the light pollution and heavy front light at other car make it flare a lot.overall, this dash cam is a decent day time camera recorder for average customer. Useful for road accident, or simple trip record. At night function will be diminished, I am confident to replace my old 1080p cam at this time. But I still can replace my car action cam for my road trip.
