I love itLoving my Surface Laptop 4 a lot. No issues setting it up. The touch screen is perfect, I love the feel of the keyboard. The laptop does its job. It’s a basic, minimalist but high end laptop for sure. I don’t do much with it but surf the web and type up notes. For the price of this laptop, it sure is great.

Amazon and MS service reviewThe Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 15″ Touch Screen – Intel Core i7 – 32GB – 1TB itself is a decent product; HOWEVER, the one I received developed a horrible display problem.The screen randomly displayed mulit-colored stripes over part or all of the screen, and the error began to occur more frequently through about ten weeks of moderate usage (and NO damage, kid-glove treatment).Here’s where the real trouble began.I contacted Amazon for a return/replacement. Amazon said contact Microsoft. Microsoft said the warranty had expired. WHAT?!? That’s right. Amazon kept the computer in a warehouse long enough that the manufacturer warranty expired within a few days of my purchase. Microsoft said to contact Amazon.The back-and forth was accentuated with insanely long phone hold times on Microsoft’s helpline. Somehow I bought a lemon and no one wanted to help me.What saved the day was a lone Amazon employee who took it upon himself to contact Microsoft to find a customer service manager who would help. By the end of that day, Microsoft had arranged to send me a replacement REFURBISHED computer to be shipped immediately (with a full-price hold on my credit card until the faulty computer was received at Microsoft). The refurbished machine has no problems (yet), the faulty one was received (no charges on my card), and life is working as it should.The Amazon employee contacted me within a week to make certain that the problem had been solved. Amazon’s error was huge but that employee made it his business to fix it.

I Really Like It!I really like the size and style. The keyboard side has this really nice suede-like material that takes the style value up a notch. Really easy to work with. Love the touch screen. My only complaints are the short battery life, and limited number of ports. I seem to only get a few hours of use, if that, before I have to plug it in, and there is only one regular port and one C port.
First time replacement –
Faulty out of the boxProduct was faulty out of the box. Would shut down and make a popping noise with any movement of the laptop, which as it is a laptop and meant to be moved happens often, like when moving it an inch or placing it down on something. Attempting to exchange the product has been a huge pain. After chatting with an Amazon representative, which appeared to be the route to a replacement we were asked to trouble shoot an issue that no amount of trouble-shooting would fix. Then we were told that Microsoft would contact us, they didn’t. We called Microsoft # in the email we got about follow up and the message said we had to submit the issue online. After doing so we were offered a refurbished product. Disappointed that it didn’t work, that the exchange process is this broken and lastly, that in exchange for a new product we were offered a new one.

Don’t trust AC ArsenalTerrible product and company! The keyboard is a BILINGUAL CANADIAN KEYBOARD which is not mentioned in the description. This meant that several keys would not produce what was shown on the keyboard. I returned the product with ALL components and then I received a message from AC Arsenal that the AC adapter was missing and I will only receive a partial refund. I KNOW that all components were placed inside the original packaging and returned. AC Arsenal is not a trustworthy company! They have don’t NOTHING on their end to help with this matter. I have contacted and filed claims with UPS and still no help from anyone. Very frustrating! Seems to be a scam to dmget rid of a faulty product.
