This amp KICKSHad a mono block nvx amp before and had to run gain up 3/4 to just make the speaker move, a 10in sub at that.. installed this one, super easy quick install and my lc2i is turned all the way down, and gain/boost on amp is all the way down and it still thumps hard.. running now a alpine type s at 1ohm, and its so clear and slams when u want to push it!

WARNING! If this amp blows your speakers will go too. Protection mode don’t workI was just trying to upgrade my current amp with this one, just a matter of a few wires but as soon as I turned it on the protection light came on. I then looked for what could be the cause for about 2 min then I started seeing smoke coming out of my subwoofers so I disconnected the power to the amp and the smoke cleared. Turned out that the amp blew up both 12″ subs, using a volt meter found out that as soon as it is powered on 50 VDC comes out of the output (where the speakers connects on the amp). I’ve owned and installed Audio systems for over 25 years and I’ve never seen that happen before. Don’t recommend buying.
