    2 months reviewI have been using this light for the past 2 months mostly shooting my girlfriend and family so far I think it worth the money. It is reasonable price and powerful. If you use it on the x100v with the leaf shutter you can overpower the sun so I would recommend this light for everyone.

    Better than ProfotoHaving received my v1, I had the opportunity to thoroughly test the functionality. Off the bat I can say that (having owned the Profoto A1-c) this unit is made with as good or better quality than that unit. The accessory kit is by far superior to the competition’s in which each item has to be purchased individually. I think this battery design is genius too with it’s slim (included) charger. I purchased this to use as an On Camera Flash so I’m not really concerned about the wireless trigger or integration with additional lights. One of the most important features is that it has a TTL to Manual switch button that retains the TTL setting of the last flash. So, it is easy to take one shot to determine exposure and easily adjust the power setting from there. Godox could have easily charged double this price and it would have been still 35-45% less that Profoto (when you add in all the accessories) and would still have been a good price. It really exposes the truth about how overpriced Profoto is. Good job Godox. I will follow up with an extended review after some more usage.

     The last several years I keep hearing about how good the Godox lights are so I thought I’d give them a try. I’m a Nikon shooter and have always bought Nikon flashes but the Godox lights perform just as well, if not better for a way, way better price. I also love how you can control multiple flashes with a Godox trigger remote or with a speed light attached to the hot shoe of the camera. It’s way better using an Li-ion battery and being able to charge it, compared to having to buy multiple AA batteries all the time. Very easy to use and definitely recommend it to anybody who is looking to add some artificial lighting to their photography, whether just a beginner or a pro. Highly recommend!

    This will end up being your new favorite flash!I was skeptical about this flash when I bought it, and it’s now one of my favorite flashes in my bag! It was easy to set up and the interface is really simple to understand.It only took a few minutes to set it up for remote use. Once that was done I was able to capture images with AMAZING light. It was perfectly distributed!The battery life is insane – I was always fighting with having a fast enough recycle time, and this flash exceeds my expectations.I will definitely be getting another…..

    A Solid Piece of Gear!Speedy delivery, brand new Godox V1-N for my Nikon setup. No issues communicating with my D850, D7200, or D5500. This thing is lightweight and a solid construction. Battery has been lasting no problem at different flash outputs for my person and cat portraits as well as roller derby photography. Lots of color correcting caps and gels that I am still experimenting with. Fast recycle times, easy to use interface, compact, and powerful. Will most likely switch over to full three lights setup with the V1-Ns once more of my Yungnuo speedlites die.

    Great flash for NikonI used this with my Nikon Z5 for fireworks photos. The modeling light is great to help the camera focus in low light situations. The TTL metering works good, all the images I took with it were exposed well.
