Very IMPRESSIVE! Awesome Design!!Coming from the Godox 860II flash version User, the V1 is very impressive! Love the fact that the head is tilted back without twisting the flash neck. The most favorite feature was the improved Menu layout. I can easily and quickly turn off multiple Off-Camera Flashes without carefully reading the old Menu (860 version) and pushing way too many buttons to accomplish the task. Too much to love: More power; Quick re-charge; Circular light shape; Softer fall-off. Good service and Quick shipping were also a PLUS!!… Highly recommended!!! I think I’m going to get another one :):)

Seamless with the Godox System! Will not disappoint.The product arrived a day early so I got to test it earlier before my shoot. I already have a few Godox products, TT600, AD200 and X2T. They all work seamlessly together. The V1 is hefty and looks very sturdy. The biggest change you will notice is the round head, the advantage for it I noticed is it eliminates hot spots so if you’re in a hurry, you can go bare and use it without the need for diffusers. Although I would still prefer to use some sort of a softbox if I can, but for cases that you need to do a quick portrait and with limited time or space, this is a great option. It also comes with it’s own battery and a portable charger. It eliminates the need to bring a bunch of AA’s – I might buy an extra battery just in case if you plan to shoot all day with it.Overall, this is a great addition to the Godox line up. The 2.4 ghz is very dependable and for anyone who is into ETTL, this will not disappoint. It’s a fraction of the cost of Profoto A10 and with same features (somewhat). If you are already in the Godox system, I would recommend this product. And for those who are not yet, it’s worth adding to your list of considerations.

Incredible quality flash and quick shippingSo far the Godox V1-C flash has been fantastic when used in real-world situations. I just recently covered the NFL Draft in Las Vegas and used this flash every day so that I could take fan portraits and get other candid moments shooting in harsh sunlight conditions. The quality of the flash bare is also very impressive and works enough for me without needing a diffuser, even, though I do use them when I can, but I was very impressed at the bare flash quality of light directly on subjects.Without the Godox V1-C my work simply would not have been the same, so much of this one event was in direct sunlight and the battery and strength let me balance those things out with the use of the flash. I was really impressed by the recycle time as well as the overall power output.The flash is a little chunkier than the average speedlite, that’s definitely the one thing to keep in mind, since I was using mine on a Think Tank belt, and a couple times the weight of it almost led to it falling out – though all I need to do to fix that is get a slightly bigger pouch.Whatever the.case, the flash makes it so easy for me to get strobe-like power while I’m on the go, and this has become a very useful piece in my kit as a newspaper photographer.

A perfect flash for Real Estate photography!This flash has been just what my kit needs! I shoot mostly real estate photography and love to go for the “flambient” look to make my images stand out. I was really interested in this flash for three main reason, the large battery, the unique shape for a flash, and it’s ease of use. I very much like that this can do high speed sync. It works great with my yongnuo triggers. It would be cool if it synced automatically with them, but can’t complain too much. The flash was able to overpower the ambient quite easily and recycle quite fast. I need to see how this looks for lighting a person, I bet it could add a nice shape of light as a back drop light! I’ll update again once I’ve played with this some more! But so far I love this!

I’m switching all my canon speedlites to Godox unitsI was always skeptical about 3rd party flashes but I was wrong. Way wrong. Godox has made an amazing flash for affordable price. Being able to trigger my flashes with sekonic light meter is also a huge plus. I excited to sell all my canon flashes and purchase more Godox units.

Good Flash But InconsistentI can appreciate Godox products for their versatility and affordability. However, they do have some quality problems. This is a nice flash but it leaves room for error. I’ve had issues with overheating and regular misfiring. 😕

Great round head flash for wedding photographyThis is a really great flash especially if you’re a wedding photographer. With the round head it makes a very good soft coverage of your area that you are photographing. I highly recommend this particular flash. It is well-built and has very nice features on it. I plan on buying another one. You can’t go wrong with this one.

This is such an amazing light for outdoors shoots.I love how powerful the light is for outdoor against the sun, it is so useful and lightweight. The build is very sturdy and the push in battery pack is so convenient and lasts more than an entire event. I highly recommend this light for any professional or amateur photographers out there.
