Can See Red BetterI’m color deficient, I can see colors such as red, orange, pink, purple etc. though, I see these colors as darker and non-vibrant, it’s what I knew them to be. These glasses weren’t life changing; like some seem to suggest, but it certainly made those colors I mentioned earlier pop. Works much better outside, or very well lit areas.

An eye opening experienceI’ve been looking at Enchroma Glasses with awe and wonder since 2014. It is something that I couldn’t justify purchasing myself but also something I’ve wanted. This year my wife surprised me telling me she was going to buy me a pair.What is great about these glasses? Well how about the fact I can actually see color vibrantly. I’m a red/green mild protan colorblind individual. Generally I have a 25% failure rate on the standard Ishihara test. Upon putting the glasses on I everything popped. Reds looked redder, greens looked greener, it was like opening my eyes for the first time.Now don’t get me wrong, after wearing these glasses I tried another Ishihara test just to see how big of an impact it made. The short of it is I still am color blind. But I didn’t expect that to really change.Would I buy these again? Absolutely. Actually I’m eyeing one of the indoor pairs now. I’m curious if that would make a difference as well. I suspect that it would even if it is marginal compared to the sunglasses I truly don’t care. Any benefit, any ability to better take in this world’s beauty.These glasses are amazing.

Whole new worldFather’s Day gift for my colorblind dad and he was initially in awe of the colors he saw! Didn’t realize his grandson’s football team was in fact bright red and not brown until these bad boys 🤣 he followed instructions and wore them even inside and said he could see more color/vividly the more he wore them. He also complimented the frames and said they felt good to wear as they are very light!

Couldn’t wipe the smile off his Face!!This gift to my friend changed his outlook on the outdoors. He uses them to drive everyday, not only do they help with signal lights, but car lights in general. Usually on the grumpy side of life, he called the morning after receiving them to Thank us again for the gift. His wife said they are the only glasses he takes great care with, because its the difference from the beginning of Wizard of Oz to the colorful part. Pops can finally see colors vividly!My dad has been severely colorblind for his whole life. I decided he has to try these despite his reservations that glasses will never fix his issue. Lo and behold these worked the second he put them on. Highly recommend these!

Vibrant ColorsI bought the glasses for my husbands birthday and when I gave them to him I didn’t t tell him that they were for colorblindness. I had him go outside and put them on & he was amazed at all the vibrant colors that he’s never seen before.That’s all he keeps saying is how Vibrant things look.

For my 30 yr. old son these were life changing!I know these don’t work for everyone but for my 30 yr. old son……well, I couldn’t video him because he used a lot of expletives. We only recently realized he was pretty strongly deutron colorblind. After a couple of weeks feeling fairly certain I was the “Worst Mother in the World” because of not catching this when he was 25, or 20, or15, or maybe 5 I chose to assuage my guilt by getting him a pair of Enchroma glasses. They were a little spendy for me if they hadn’t worked but I relied on Amazon’s return policy to convince me to buy them. Our yard is peppered with hundreds of seed from our Mountain Laurel tree. They are pretty bright red. He had never noticed them before because they were the same color as the grass and dried leaves. 30 years old and he had never seen that the bark of a tree was a different color than the leaves. He cried, I cried, his brother cried. I’m pretty sure the neighbors would have cried if they knew why we were laughing and swearing in our front yard. If they work for you they are amazing!!
