10 reviews for CORSAIR 7000D AIRFLOW Full-Tower ATX PC Case, Black

I bought one of each color.Overall… At a glanceNeat case7000D is huge …If you don’t want huge go to the 5000D. Etc.Interesting cable management mounts. With a door to hide it all.Love the protective CPU backplate door.Sata SSD mounts are awkward if you don’t have straight sata plugs. The cable door can’t close at all.I bought a black one for my husband. The build went well, looks great. I’m a bit bummed about the smoked glass, it looks nice but makes it hard to see everything in it. He’s not a fan of case lighting. There’s some from his aio liquid cool… But that’s a minor amount, so the smokey glass is eh, not great imo. But since he doesn’t want case lights, it’s nice it dims the brightness for him. But I liked the full tower and the build experience enough to order a second PC tower for myself.I bought the white one to build myself a very all white system if possible. To contrast his dark build I made him. I was happy to see the crystal clear glass but saddened by the fact all the fans included were indeed black (I knew this before I ordered). So I’ll have to replace them. At least I could shove them in my husband’s PC since I haven’t fully decked his case out with fans yet. (Hence why I ordered it anyways).Until then I’m gonna live with it as it is.

Good engineering , front panel usb issue widespreadThis case is really good. Everything is well engineered and extremely easy to disassemble and assemble. The airflow is good. The only issue that I have “which I found from reddit that a lot of people have this issue like me is” that the front panel usb wire to the motherboard are faulty/loose.I happened to have an extremely loose usb which does not click into motherboard like fan usb and plugging the usb into motherboard creates this weird latency where everything from boot to windows feel 90ms lag.I would RMA my case but I do not want to disassemble everything because I need the pc for daily use so right now my front panel usb does not work. I think the front panel issue issue requires a bit more Quality control from Corsair.

It’s both beauty and beast!Definitely a five star case!- Solid! This thing has heft! Even with the inner cover-of-cabling-shame removed, this thing is solid.- Room! This thing has so much room. You can put in all the radiators or all the fans or a little bit of both.- Reliable! I think that given the room and the heft it could probably be used as an impromptu bomb shelter a la Indiana Jones refrigerator style. This has been my favorite case ever to build in. It’s just … easy. Cables are truly manageable. The hinged sides are great. The ability to customize is beautiful. You can add so many drives or remove the bays entirely. Tons of options for cooling. Lots of room for airflow. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and things stay cool. I will be adding more fans in to keep it even cooler but I’m waiting for replacements for the three 120mm that arrived as a single used hair tie instead of fans. So you can enjoy the bit of crazy RGB that is has for now in the photo. Any complaints I have are too minor to mention, in my opinion. While nothing may be perfect, this is close as it gets.I have it paired up with Corsair cooling, hosting and ASUS mainboard and GPU, and G.Skill RAM. When I get the rest of the fans and the second lighting controller installed, will add pics (if Amazon lets me edit like that?) As it is, it’s going great and I can’t wait to add those finishing touches and report back on changes in cooling and coolness.Honestly, this case *ahem* probably won’t change your life in a three wolf moon shirt kind of way, but it may be your next true love. The only reason my wife isn’t jealous is because I got her the 5000D. She now games with a smile and a glint in her eye that belies true joy and she might love her computer more than me. It’s OK. I did this to myself.

Pictures Don’t Do Justice for this CaseI received the 7000D case today and unboxed it. While the box itself was in somewhat questionable condition, the case was riding in foam inserts and was perfect. After removing the foam and protective plastic, I was first surprised by how large the case is compared to my perception of the photos. It’s spacious, well-built, and demonstrates attention to detail in a number of different areas. The tempered glass door was in perfect condition upon arrival. On the opposite side, I’ve seen at least one reviewer that didn’t care for the inner cable management door. However, I think it lends a very clean appearance to that side of the case. Fully removeable, the inner door can be lifted off the hinges. As noted, the case accommodates fans and coolers up to 420mm, and ventilation is great throughout. I especially liked the removable dust filters that attach to the chassis frame with small magnetic strips, allowing easy maintenance.Overall, I think the case is a great value for the money, and Corsair delivers once again. As the title states, I don’t think the photos do this case justice; it’s really imposing and attractive.

Great and big caseit has a very robust material and a lot of space inside with tons of different options that i didnt get to discover them all yet after a weekit has an insane amount of airflow and at the same time you cant hear anything that comes from the PCive installed 14 noctua fans and the case is around 60cm away from me and i cant hear anything from itI compared this to my older case (H500P mesh) the difference on noise and temps is too much on my opiniontheres few advices that id like corsair to add or change into this case:add a bit more of room for a 4th 120mm fan at the top of the case, the front and side panel can have 4 but not the top and this could make it “match” the whole case (this may make the case overall length bigger so i understand they didnt made it for 4 120mm fans)add a support for the GPU on normal mount (im not sure if its needed for riser mounting)add a screw for the PSU and motherboard door, sometimes the cables need to be pressed a bit to fit and with a magnetic door that isnt possible, this is solved by just taking it off and using the side panel to close it but then this door loses its purposethis case still has more potential to become even better than it is right now and i hope corsair doesnt forget the full-tower designs because this one is GREATnote: you can connect the fan hub that comes with this case as long as the fans you want to install doesnt go over 12w without using the sata connector, if you do you must connect the sata connector (check how much power each of your fans requires and add them all) this is a rule in general for all fan connectors except for some premium motherboards that allow more w in one or two connectors but the rest will still support only 12wnote2: if you want to install a 6 fans radiator on the front you have to change the direction of the rails or whatever it is called for it to fit, i didnt try this for the top mount but it should be the samenote3: i couldnt find a good position for the SSD’s on the HDD’s storage without bothering the fan at the bottom located at the side door, i think it was just me not doing a good cable management to fix it and i wasnt expecting it to happen so to anyone that wants to mount a 4th fan for the HDDs/SSDs be careful on the way you set the cablesthe only “bad” thing in this case is its weight, way too heavy but thats because of the good quality of the case, best way is to take off the side doors and then it will be a bit lighter to carry then put them back afterif they make a better version of this it will be on my wish list for sure

Excellent, huge caseVery easy build this time around. Excellent looking case, and never really audible unless I take my headphones off or have nothing playing on them. Very quiet. Tons of room. Sexy, with good airflow.

Beast of a case, tons of spaceI made a mistake getting this case as it was much larger than I expected, but that turned out to be a gift in disguise. The case is surprisingly modular (to a degree), it has good cable management abilities, plenty of SSD capacity, PLENTY of room for liquid cooling, and space to spare for current and next-gen Giant-Sized GPUs / Coolers. The Airflow is quite good, the easy to disassemble fan grates and magnetic filters make fan maintenance a breeze (pun intended)The three (3) non-RGB fans that come with the case are already quite optimal, I myself added 3 more RGB fans for aesthetic and to improve airflow, but if you dont want to then more fans are not a necessity, but also not a terrible idea.

A really nice case!Hopefully you have watched a few video reviews of this case before buying and have considered it against other options. If you have and you’re here now and have decided that this is the case for you I think you’ve made a good choice. If you’re not here and not reading this and are buying another case after carefully considering what you want out of your case and your budget then you have also most likely made a good choice. But for those who intend to buy this case… It’s a really good looking case with lots of options for AIOs and custom water cooling. I’m a big fan of big fans so I like that there are a lot of places to put 140mm fans. The side intake is NOT one of those places but I’m using it for a 360mm CPU AIO. You could potentially mount radiators in the front, on the side and in the top (check specs for exact specs), but with AIOs and this large case you may have some trouble with tubing length. For instance, there is no way I could have mounted that CPU AIO on the front because the tubes were too short. I also wanted to mount it with tubes down but it wouldn’t reach that way either, so I had to mount the radiator tubes up (sorry Steve!).I have my GPU, an EVGA 3090 Kingpin Hybrid, mounted vertically with the 360mm AIO for that at the top of the case. I have a total of 13 fans in the case and really good airflow and temps. Cable management is really easy, especially if you’re like me and just make sure the observable part is clean and use the back to just stuff everything out of sight.

The best PC Case I’ve ever bought.I have been building computers for over 20 years. I have never had a case as enjoyable to work with. This case is massive. My previous gaming case was a Rosewill Thor full tower. The 2 cases are about the same size, but the Corsair just has so much more room after installing all components.I did not go with water cooling for this case, so I can’t comment on how well the case is set up for water cooling, but it appears it would be effortless. The case is very well thought out. With a full ATX board, this case has openings in all the right places for easy cable management. I did not use any sata drives in this case, so that is a few less cables being used, but this case would handle the extra cables without issue. This case is very heavy because it is built out of good quality and sturdy components. The glass doors are thick and so are the metal components. With all the case fans spinning at full speed, the temperature of my office increases noticeably. It can get 10 or more degrees warmer in my 10’x10′ office. Its size and weight, especially after the computer is fully assembled, does make it a little awkward to move around.I’ve used a few Corsair cases on builds in the past, but this is my first full tower Corsair case. Corsair makes some great cases and the 7000D Airflow is another level altogether.

All you’ll ever needThis case is a behemoth. It is literally all you will ever need. I recently upgraded to a 3090Ti Hybrid and needed room for the radiator so I purchased this case. I feel this thing will handle any upgrade in the future. My favorite part is the ability to navigate while building especially with my big hands. I installed everything with ease. Only down side is the window tint. It’s very dark so any RGB is hard to see.9/10 !
