10 reviews for AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

  1. Michael

Fantastic upgradeI recently upgraded my AMD4 build with these processor. My 2600x was a fantastic CPU, but was showing its age on CPU intensive titles like Star Citizen and Escape from Tarkov. I’m a heavy multi-tasker, and I think I was hitting the limit of a 6 core CPU. The 5700x is notably and surprisingly faster, and massively improved my gaming performance in the aforementioned titles. The extra CPU cores are great to have, and I don’t feel like I can out-multitask this processor any longer. When you look at the benchmarks, The 5700x is basically a cheaper, cooler 5800x. I’m very pleased with this processor and would recommend it as a cost-effective upgrade for older AM4 builds.

Price – Power – PerformanceI upgraded from a Ryzen 2600 to the 5700X. Even though my 2600 had been overclocked to 3.8GHz, the 5700X running stock settings simply blew it away. Routine tasks take 50% less time than before. Best of all, it was (well, should have been) a drop-in replacement for the older CPU. And it still uses only 65W, so my “silent PC” build stays silent as before. At the end of the AM3 architecture, a bargain.

Excellent processor.Like the AMD 7 processor 5800X. Very quiet and fast. No issues. Haven’t overlooked the processor. Now with the new processors for AMD on 7000 series coming out gotta wait to see how I compare on the comparison. This info just came out 5d ago. I recommend getting this with a really good solid board. Glad I went to Ryzen 7 and not 5. Felt midway was better.

  4. Daniel Valencia

Excellent CPU with 65w TDPI was looking for an upgrade to my Ryzen 5 3600, and this fit the bill perfectly. 8c/16t while keeping the 65w TDP – an excellent buy

Needed upgradeI was chilling with a Ryzen 5 2400 with a 1080 and my pc was crying and now it can run anything with ease.

  6. Tracker1

Great upgrade for 1st or 2nd gen RyzenMay need to upgrade your BIOS with the old CPU to a compatible version, and if you’re on B450 or older, you may lose compatibility with your old CPU. This is about the best option, without going to a higher watt option. This was an upgrade for a 2600, and running great, better still, ram now runs at XMP speeds.

PerfectWorks perfectly on my pc, no issues.
