Lousy for HDR, decent image quality for office work, terrible controls, overpriced, USB-C brokenThe idea display Q32P 32″ IPS 4K UHD Gaming Monitor is overpriced and HDR is worthless. The display quality for office work and programming is only acceptable after tweaking the settings. Once set properly, the colors are vibrant, but contrast can wash out fine details. There are problems using the USB-C and HDMI inputs at the same time. The bezels are very thin, and the monitor looks pretty good. The monitor stand does not provide much stability, but it is easy to attach and remove.HDR is unusable for anything other than watching videos, and even then it is not very good.Plugging in my Samsung Note20 Ultra into the USB-C connector disabled my HDMI connection to my laptop and I couldn’t switch back without unplugging my phone and then unplugging the monitor from my laptop and then reattaching it.I have no idea what the other USB inputs are for.The physical controls are infuriatingly bad and will drive you nuts trying to adjust anything. However, the monitor comes with a remote control, which makes the settings much easier to adjust. Sadly, the menu system is ugly, awkward, and outdated. The inputs are located near the bottom of the monitor, making them hard to access since they all face downwards. It’s almost impossible to tell when the monitor is on because the LED indicators are on the back of the monitor. The monitor seems to power off very, very quickly whenever it cannot detect an input, which makes the remote control difficult to use.The default display quality is poor: dim with low contrast and a red cast. With a little tweaking, the image quality can be improved so that it is acceptable. The monitor did not include a manual. The online manual is very poor and states that the panel type is TFT instead of the more expensive IPS that is claimed on Amazon. Also the contrast is listed at 1000:1 instead of 1300:1 as listed on Amazon.I regret purchasing the idea display Q32P 32″ IPS 4K UHD Gaming Monitor since there are better monitors from reputable companies like LG that are less expensive. Particularly disappointing is that HDR is unusable and the USB-C input hoses up the HDMI connection so that you can’t use both at the same time.

Leave this monitorLooking for a 2k 144+hz on a budget and took a chance with this model. No complaints, picture quality is sharp and comparable to my sons 500+ monitor.RBG on back is okay but limited to pre-programs toggled by a button underneath. All in all this is a good 2k monitor that supports up to 170hz.

OK for this Price Range.I have 4 Desktops and have upgraded 3 of them to 27 inch 2k Monitors. The last Desktop is 5 Years old and the oldest. However, since it has a AMD Motherboard, I was able to upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 5 5600x and it’s performance improved dramatically. I now decided to replace the 1k Monitor I was using with new cheap 2k Monitor that gets the Job done and nothing else. The G27Q Monitor did what I expected it to do including being able to enable GSync because I am using a NVIDIA GTX1070ti Graphics Card. The only other thing I would like to mention is there is no User Manual included, but if you scroll down to Product Description on Amazon, there is a Link to download it.

Best Display I have used EVER for the price!!! Gold mine find!!!This monitor is by far the best monitor I have bought EVER. I bought the Dell S2719DGF and thought it was amazing for almost $400 This monitor is half that and WAY BETTER! If your looking for a GAMING Monitor GET THIS ONE! For sure hands down a great 2k 170 MHz monitor!! LOVE IT! Thanks Idea Display for making these and pricing them for a great price as well!!!-=EDIT=-Just got the 2nd one love these monitors.

Horrible, go brand-name and pay extraEver since I got this monitor, it’s had flickering issues when connected to a dedicated GPU. Unless I’m using specific cables, delicately placed in a certain position, it does this flickering with a popping noise to accompany it. I’ve used cables of all different qualities and prices and the problem won’t go away. The amount of time I’ve wasted troubleshooting this has made it worthy of throwing it in the trash.

Why buy a thin bezel monitor if the video image stops 1/4 inch from the bezel.I upgraded from a 2K monitor to a 4K monitor, overall I am satisfied with these monitors. However, when I purchased the monitors (2) I specifically selected monitors for the VESA mounting and a thin bezel, figuring that I could butt the two monitors together and have only a thin line down the middle. The video image doesn’t go the the edge of the screen on either monitor and there is no adjustment that I can find, so now I have a 1/2″ black stripe where the two monitor butt up against each other.
