Taramps smart 3kI bought taramps smart 3 amp because I though I’d be doubling the output power to my sundown xv3 12. Don’t get me wrong, it still puts out power, but you have to be careful about clipping and overheating. Mine has overheated twice now and I’ve had it for less than a month. I have a skar rp1500.1d and i feel I can put out more power with that. But I could be wrong. It’s a decent amp, the fans are definitely loud but they mean business. They work as long as you aren’t abusing the amp. Three stars because I feel like I can match it’s power with an amp half it’s rms rated size🤷🏻

So good I bought 2Taramps Smart 3 Strapped together for a total of 6,000 watts. Electrical upgrades is a must in order to run a setup similar to this because these amps are power hungry. I’m sitting at 14.2 and during a demo at full tilt I’ll drop to 13.3volts

great power for the moneyLookup amp dyno videos of this to see what it can do. You NEED good strong electrical to run this or any other big power amp. Pushes my ZVX 12s with ease. Im not sure what others are talking about saying it doesnt play lows, they either received a faulty unit or have a subsonic/HPF on.

Will not buy againOrdered this amp bout a year ago and it would always go into protect mode and fans never worked. Decided to build a new system and ordered this amp again from same person, box was all beat up and amp stayed in protect mode and made loud popping noises, was told a replacement was going to be sent and was guaranteed delivery on Friday, it’s now Friday and now it’s saying estimated delivery Monday, which is when I leave for work, very aggravated with this seller and product, for the price you’d think the shipping quality would be better. Will not purchase again!
