FAQ

What to look for when shopping for a laptop

When shopping for a laptop, it's important to consider what you intend to use it for. If you're looking for a laptop primarily for entertainment and working from home, you might consider one with a larger 15-inch or 16-inch screen, for example. But, if portability is a big priority, check out a more compact 13-inch model.

You'll also want to make sure you have enough processing power and memory to handle the tasks you need it for. Laptops with at least 8GB of RAM are usually good enough for most people, but if you're a video editor, professional photographer, or software engineer, you may need more than that.

What laptop deals should I expect for Black Friday?

It's safe to expect deals on laptops from all major brands, but in particular we see lots of discounts on hybrid 2-in-1 laptops throughout Black Friday as well as gaming laptops at the high end. Apple is also known to have its deepest discounts of the year (relatively speaking) during Black Friday.
